Dannie Hood
Senior PastorSince 2012 Dannie Hood has been the dynamic Pastor at Landmark Tabernacle, working hand-in-hand with his wife Lori, Bishop Billy Hale and Landmark’s ministerial team.
The Hoods have always been focused on ministry. Pastor Hood began preaching at 13 years of age; he participated in evangelistic revival meetings at 15. He received his general ministerial license in 1991 after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Jackson College of Ministries. He was ordained in 2008. He worked as a full-time evangelist from 1989-1992, and again from 1997-2012. He was Associate Pastor at Landmark Tabernacle from 1992-1994 and Pastor of Christian Life Tabernacle in Memphis, Tennessee from 1994-1997.
A lyrical and poetic writer since his teen years, Pastor Hood’s first (of four) books, The Desperation Zone, was published in 2001. He composed a one-hour Bible study, Escape, which has been used around the country to lead many to an Acts 2:38 experience.
Pastor Hood is also the radio voice for The Jesus Message radio broadcast, (formerly The Message of Hope), which airs on Fridays in 40+ cities nationwide, and on shortwave radio, to all of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As an innovative, long-range visionary, Pastor Hood relies on the power of prayer, consistent Apostolic preaching, and Spirit-led directives to build upon Landmark Tabernacle’s excellent foundation. He sees an even greater revival in the future – a revival that will make an eternal impact on the city of Denver, Colorado.
